Important distinctions for the pioneering project "Astypalaia: Smart and sustainable island" and Kosmocar at the Mobility Awards 2023
Kosmocar was honored with major distinctions at the Mobility Awards 2023 for the pioneering project "Astypalaia: Smart and Sustainable Island" at an award ceremony held on June 14. The company's commitment to highlighting and promoting smart and sustainable mobility solutions was recognized with the top award "Car Company of the Year" and three Gold awards in the Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Urban Transport and Ride Hailing and Car Sharing categories.
These distinctions concern the pillar of the program for smart mobility and specifically the operation of the vehicle sharing service "astyGO" in combination with the shuttle service "ASTYBUS" exclusively through electric vehicles, with the coordination of Kosmocar in collaboration with the Development Organization of the South Aegean Region "K2" which is the public body of the service. All transportation needs of the visitor and permanent resident of Astypalaia island are realized in an easy and simple way by integrating all the services in an innovative way on the smartphone, the innovative application of "astyMOVE" smart mobility ecosystem.
